Preschool Story Time is designed for children ages 3 - 5 years. A story and activities are part of each session.
This Story Time is held on Tuesdays at 10:00 am. Toddler Story
Time is geared toward children ages 1 - 2 years. A story and
activities are part of each session. This Story Times is held on Fridays
at 10:00 am.
Legos
Club for Kids! - For elementary school children, our new
Legos Club meets every other Wednesday at 4:30 pm in
the Community Room. Upcoming sessions are 5/8 & 5/22.
Bring your young children so they can start exploring the wonderful
world of Legos.
The Ewe & I Knitting Circle - Want to learn to knit?
Already know how to knit but would like to meet others
who enjoy knitting too? Then join the Ewe & I Knitting Circle
which meets every Thursday night at 7:00 pm in the library. If you're
new to knitting, bring a pair of size 8 ( 10 inch ) knitting needles and
a skein of worsted weight yarn. If you are experienced, bring your
latest project. We look forward to meeting you!
Penn State Extension Master Gardner's Program - Penn State is
offering programs through their
Master Gardner's Program at the
Degenstein Library. Click HERE for
dates and times. All programs are open to the public and are free of
charge. Registration is required ( call the Extension Office @ 988- 3950
). If you wish to make your own "Rain Barrel", there will be a fee to
purchase the barrel.During the month of May the library will be holding basic computer classes. Classes will be for
those who have never used a computer before. Registration is required
because of limited space. Class size is limited to 6.
Call the library at 286-2461 for more info.The American Red Cross is offering a Disaster Preparedness Program at the library on
Friday, May 24th @ 2:00pm. The presentation is about 50 minutes long and covers
three steps everyone should know to prepare for a disaster: Make
a Kit, Make a Plan, Be Informed. All who attend will receive a
packet of useful materials as well as small giveaways.

will be doing a reading and book
signing of her recently published novel "The Imam: Terror
Unleashed" on Thursday, June 13th @ 7:00pm.
